☀️ WE’RE HIRING: SOLAR INSTALLATION MANAGER / ELECTRICAL QUALIFYING SUPERVISOR 🔋
GJM Energy is looking for an experienced Solar Installation Manager / Electrical Qualifying Supervisor to join our team and take responsibility for delivering high-quality solar PV and battery storage installations.
This is a hands-on management role for someone with strong technical knowledge who can lead installation teams, maintain excellent standards and ensure every project is delivered safely, compliantly and professionally.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
• Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification
• Level 3 Inspection and Testing qualification
• Current BS 7671 / 18th Edition qualification
• Recognised Solar PV installation qualification
• Recognised Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) qualification
• ECS/CSCS card or equivalent
• Full UK driving licence
• Relevant health and safety training
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• Proven experience installing and commissioning domestic and/or commercial solar PV systems
• Strong experience working with battery storage systems
• Previous experience managing solar installation teams and subcontractors
• Excellent understanding of testing, inspection, commissioning and certification
• Strong working knowledge of BS 7671 and relevant solar PV and battery storage standards
• Ability to carry out site assessments, identify technical issues and ensure installations meet specification
• Experience planning labour, materials and installation schedules
• A strong focus on workmanship, health and safety, compliance and customer service
• Ability to troubleshoot installations and support engineers with technical issues
• Experience providing technical supervision and electrical compliance oversight
We’re looking for someone who can lead from the front, maintain high installation standards and take ownership of projects from site readiness through to testing, commissioning and customer handover.
